Local moves and intrastate moves are not regulated in the state of Tennessee. Local movers are not required to file a tariff. Most movers will price on an hourly basis if the move is staying within the state.
One important thing to remember is that you make sure your local mover carries workers compensation insurance and the proper licensing on equipment and vehicles.
