    Sometimes it’s the only way you can move a sofa.

    Some buildings have narrow hallways, often the sofa is too large to turn in the stairways.

    Yes that is true, you want to make sure you have the proper equipment, and that the balcony or upstairs level is secure first. I have seen in a case where the balcony was not secured, and the mover ended up falling off the balcony with the sofa. Safety first!
